LITTLE ROCK, Ark.––Bobby Wharton, a member of the Strength for Service Board of Directors, presented 200 copies of Strength for Service to God and Community during the March 14-17 annual meeting of the International Association of Black Professional Fire Fighters.

Wharton serves as chairman of the board of G&W/Emergency Vehicle Specialist, a leading provider of fire trucks and fire equipment, and one of the sponsors of the event.
“We actually had people stopping us in the halls saying they had read the book overnight and were appreciative,” said Wharton.
The books were provided by World Wide Technology. An article about David L. Steward founder and chairman of St. Louis-based board, and his gift of 30,000 copies of Strength for Service books was included in the program booklet.
